Mt. Chuan Di Ding is within the Nan Ling range of mountains, south of China. The name of the mountain translates into "ship bottom" as its shape resembles the top of the mountain.
Climbing this mountain is almost like a ceremony to show that you are no longer a novice in the local hiking community, in the slang of "go to the ship".
