Mt. North Heng

Mt. Heng is known as the northern mountain of the Five Great Mountains. Note that this Northern Mt. Heng in Shan Xi province has the same pronunciation but a different character as the Southern Mt. Heng in Hu Nan Province.

The Northern Mt. Heng is famous for the Hanging Temple that is built into a vertical cliff. The temple was once noted as one of the world's top ten most odd dangerous buildings.
