Luotuo (Camel) Peak is an intermediate technical alpine summit in the Siguniang Mountains area with a history of several fatal accidents. It was one of the few times I set out on a true alpine climb.

The approach to the C1 camp at 4,600 meters from the Changping Valley drained me. By the time I arrived, I barely had strength to set up my tent. While my teammates headed onto the glacier the next day for training, I stayed behind at camp resting.

By the third morning, I felt like myself again. We set off early and pushed higher up above 5000M. In the end, though, we turned back. I can't remember exactly why: it's been too many years.

There is the letter "e" missing. Apparently, my brain slows at high altitude.
