Doi Inthanon is the top of Thailand. I started with a rented scooter from Chiang Mai, drove on a highway, and headed up the road to Doi Inthanon.

Halfway up the mountain, I spotted a trail called "Kew Mae Pan". I parked the bike by the roadside and went for a short hike. When I came back, the rear tire was flat. Oddly enough, maybe someone punctured it on purpose.

With no better option, I limped the bike slowly down the mountain until I found a repair shop by the roadside. After getting the tire fixed, I spent the night camping in a park at the mountain's base, surrounded by plenty of Thai campers who had also pitched their tents there.
