I went to Mt. Emei the next day after the price for the entry ticket was raised. The weather was not good and the whole journey was concentrated on going up on endless steps, passing many temples one by one as checkpoints.

The mountain was relatively high, so it's a bit difficult to finish the ascent in one day. Near to the mountain top, you will be welcomed by the well-known Tibetan macaques that are bold enough to take food from your backpack if it's unattended.
