I was only a high school student when I visited Mt. Jiuhua, so I could not recall too much. My family was on a journey for the permanent relocation from Wu Han to Shanghai. We took a cruise down the Yangtze river, and stopped by Gui Chi to visit a friend of my family.
Mt. Jiuhua is famous for its unique Corporeal Body Hall that kept the sitting body of a holy monk as is, after his nirvana, for hundreds of years. Ever since then, Buddhist followers come to pay their homage.
