Mt. Qi Yun translates literally into Cloud High Mountain. The mountain itself is not so attractive when compared to the sea of yellow canola flowers that blossomed around the end of March, which is better viewed from up the mountain.

The view is more picturesque when it is combined with the stylistic houses of black roof tiles and aged white walls - the traditional buildings found in the rural area of the An Hui province.
