Catenary A-tarp

Overview

This is the classic tarp set up in the fixed A‑frame structure that tapers in width to fit for sleepers. All sides of the tarp and its ridgeline are precisely cut in curves, proper for an easy and taut pitch with a favorable living space.

The tarp is less than 200g and weights similar to your cell phone. Combining the tarp with an UL bug net, you get a shelter system of full protection around 400g! The tarp can also be accompanied by a bivy to further bring down the weight and for FKT or skilled adventurers.
