Overview
A pyramid, as one of the oldest forms of a human shelter, has its profound presence with its geometric simplicity. There is no need to overexplain its robustness and popularity. However, if you are seeking freedom and absolutely the lightest solo shelter, the Pyra1 is HERE!

Asymmetrical shape
2/3 of the inner area behind the center pole is for sleeping; the front 1/3 area is a vestibule. The space allocation is optimized when compared with a symmetrical one-pole pyramid.

World record
The Pyra1 is a world record of its kind:
- Merely 250g/8.8oz with 0.8oz DCF
- 16 tie-outs
- 40 sq ft footprint
Features
Main points
- The geometry of a pyramid generally decides that it can stand up againt heavy snow load, strong wind from any direction, and be set up the fastest compared with other forms of lightweight shelters.
- All the ridgelines and the ground perimeter lines are beautiful curves, allowing an easy taut pitch.
- Not a single horizontal seam exists. Each of the two side panels is an entire one piece of DCF for elegance, min. weight, and max. strength, at all costs!
Tie-outs
- Progressively-sized radial DCF reinforcements bonded on both sides
- Minimally invasive sewing technique
- Detachable linelocs compatible with guylines under 2mm in diameter
Zipper
- Supreme narrow zipper & edge wrapping craftsmanship
- The zipper is sewn to micro-pleated DCF, so that when the fabric shrinks over time, the zipper can still fit. If you ever see "big waves" of a zipper on those used DCF shelters of other brands, you know what I mean.
Vent
Secrets of super ultralight, super resilient support to keep the vent in shape forever
Cone
A blunted peak to fit the flat top of a trekking pole handle (unlike some other pyramids' sharply pointed apexes)
