Bathtub

Overview

The wall of a bathtub blocks rain splashes or ground debris such as dry leaves, short sticks, or dust, to keep you and your gear drier and cleaner. The bathtub typically can be used as a pyramid floor or under a tarp for better protection when compared with a flat groundsheet.

Some of the simplified DCF bathtubs in the market are attached to shelter tie-outs that have to be suspended off the ground. Without this limitation, my bathtub uses the orthodox design to have rigid rods at corners that are staked down to the ground via a comprehensive tension system.
